EA has released a brand new trailer for FIFA 17. Not only do you get to see how good the Frostbite Engine looks like, but you also get to see the new game mode called “The Journey”.
Taking a page out of the NBA 2K series, FIFA 17’s “The Journey” is a cinematic style story mode as you play as a rookie in hopes of making it to the big leagues.
Here’s an official description: “For the first time ever in FIFA, live your story on and off the pitch as the Premier League’s next rising star, Alex Hunter. Play on any club in the Premier league, for authentic managers and alongside some of the best players on the planet. Experience brand new worlds in FIFA 17, all while navigating your way through the emotional highs and lows of The Journey.
The Journey will pull you through a true-to-life experience in the Premier League. It’s a cinematic world informed and influenced by real players, personalities, locations, and events that take you places you’ve never been and bring you experiences only available in FIFA 17.
FIFA 17 will be out in September 29th, 2016 for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms. Aside from this new game mode, expect to see a lot of other fresh content in this year’s game too.
