The file size has now been revealed for the 2015 Need for Speed reboot that is coming out next month. The game has also gone gold.
The official Xbox store has now revealed the file size for the game. It is only 17.91GB big. This is much smaller than the bigger file sizes for numerous Xbox One games releasing this Holiday.
In comparison, Forza Horizon 2 had a file size of around 35GB. This year’s Forza Motorsport 6 was even bigger requiring over 46GB of space when it launched back in September.
However, the Need for Speed 2015 reboot has only a fraction of the cars that is in the sixth Forza game. Forza 6 has well over 400 cars with EA’s game only having 51 cars. This is around the same number of cars that was available for Driveclub on its launch day.
If you plan on buying the game this November, you will be happy to know that it won’t be sucking up too much of your hard drive space.
The other piece of news about the game is that it has now turned gold. This was revealed on the game’s official Twitter account. The game’s development is finished so gamers can start playing the game come this November.
