Usually Final Fantasy games don’t have a Season Pass, but Final Fantasy 15 will be one of the first to include one. This means the game should have some substantial DLC after it has been released.
The PlayStation Store revealed the Final Fantasy 15 Season Pass. The listing says: “The Season Pass allows you to download additional content. This Upgrade is a special deal for customers who have already preordered the FINAL FANTASY XV digital edition.”
Final Fantasy 15 has a Digital Premium Edition that you can get for $84.99. This includes both the game itself and the Season Pass. If you have already pre-ordered the game on the PSN, you can get an upgrade for the Season Pass at a price of $24.99.
Sadly, Square Enix did not want to give out more information about the Season Pass. Gematsu asked a Square Enix representative to know more about the Season Pass, but they couldn’t reveal any further details.
One has to wonder what kind of DLC will be released for the game. This isn’t an online multiplayer game where they can just chuck up skins for your guns or new level packs. Hopefully they give us something more substantial like extra huge missions or optional hard bosses.
