Five Nights at Freddy’s seemingly came out of nowhere when it released back in August 2013, and has since spawned three sequels, a lighter tone RPG spinoff, and even has a movie in the works. Many did not like the direction that the previous spinoff took, so we were excited when the creator’s website teased something known as Sister Location last month and now that has been officially unveiled with its debut trailer.

Five Nights at Freddy’s has a very unique premise, as it plays into the fears that many children have of the animatronics at places like Chuck E. Cheese, putting you in control of the overnight security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, where the goal is to just stay alive.

The sequels switched this up, especially in the last two, so we’ve been wondering where a potential follow-up or spinoff could take the series. That answer is somewhat here now that we have our first trailer for Five Night at Freddy’s: Sister Location courtesy of creator Scott Cawthon’s YouTube page.

The little over a minute and a half trailer invokes the horror aspect that we come to expect with the series, which appears to be going back to the roots of the initial entries in the series. The climax of the trailer reveals the crew of animatronics that will be the focus of this one, which appears to led by an evil female clown.

The trailer ends with the reveal that the game is coming sometime this Fall. However, with the way Cawthon operates, he could easily drop this game earlier. Though after the issues that came with Five Nights at Freddy’s World and launching early, he may avoid that this time.
