Florida TikToker who calls himself a demonologist is behind bars, and police say his videos exposed women’s private information

Mark Stephen Asea is in custody following a series of allegations involving the exposure of women’s private information on TikTok. The 36-year-old resident of Port St. Lucie was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail last week, facing a felony charge of offense against computer users. His bond was set at $35,000, as reported by Fox News.

Asea, who uses the TikTok platform to identify himself as a demonologist and a grey hat hacker, allegedly used his social media presence to broadcast sensitive details about women. Police records indicate he claimed he could track these individuals’ movements through their mobile devices. The current charge stems from a criminal case opened in April.

While prosecutors dropped the original stalking and computer-related allegations in May, they moved to file a new computer-access charge in September. Asea is now scheduled to be arraigned on November 19. One woman told investigators that she allowed Asea to remotely access her computer in October 2025 to troubleshoot an application.

One woman says she only asked him to fix an app

She later learned that he allegedly installed a virus on her system while she was away from the machine. The woman said this gave him access to her private files, which she never authorized. She became concerned as a photograph from a private Telegram message on her phone allegedly appeared in one of his TikTok posts. Asea claimed in a comment that the image originated from a WhatsApp exchange.

The woman, however, provided investigators with a screenshot showing the photograph in her private Telegram conversation. Another woman told police that she had shared her password only in a closed TikTok group chat, and nobody in it had permission to share it outside the group. She suspected the TikTok creator could have entered the chat with a fake account. She also did not know how he would have obtained her phone identification number or banking information.

In a video reviewed by a detective, he allegedly recited specific details about her devices and recent online spending. “Let’s talk about your actual password,” Mark Stephen Asea said, according to a transcript in the affidavit. He then asked, “How about we talk about the last 10 purchases you made online?” Investigators said he uploaded over 100 videos mentioning one of the women, sometimes posting as many as six times a day.

He allegedly created a website where he posted a photograph of her getting a tattoo. He also appeared to boast about tracking a woman’s location and said, “Thanks to the GPS within her phone, but what did I do?” His TikTok biography lists several titles including demonologist, empath, PTSD, wilderness survival, and grey hat hacker. An earlier affidavit from April showed a different biography that featured the labels former Satanist and cybersecurity engineer.

This is not the first time Asea has faced legal scrutiny, as he was involved in a separate civil stalking protection case over the summer. A woman obtained a temporary injunction in July. However, a judge dissolved it and dismissed that case in September. The records do not explain why prosecutors dropped the earlier charges or why they reopened the case last month. Asea could be released before his arraignment if he posts the $35,000 bond. He has not been convicted of the charge, and his side of the allegations could not be independently verified.
