After teasing that new content was set to be revealed earlier this morning for TitanFall 2, Respawn Entertainment the studio responsible for the title has delivered on their promise that their playerbase will definitely enjoy.
As they’ve revealed that the Titanfall 2 players can expect a handful of new content to made available soon, that will include “Live Fire” a new mode to the game that will surely test out your pilot skills. As Live Fire is set to be a 6v6 pilot only game mode that will bring out competitive close quarter combat to the forefront as it will feature round based single elimination games.
But to ensure that the games are fast paced, Respawn Entertainment are also making it so both teams have a minute to eliminate the opposing forces. If not, it’ll go to overtime where both team will fight over a neutral flag in the map.
Speaking of maps, to celebrate the new game mode Respawn Entertainment is also introducing two new maps; Meadow and Stacks that are specifically designed for the Live Fire game mode. Both are said to be only available in the new game mode and embody the fast-paced intense nature of Live Fire.
However, that’s not the only map that will be available once the latest content drop for TitanFall 2 arrives. As a new map for the Coliseum game mode “Columns” will also make it’s debut alongside the other two maps. Those of you who also happen to enjoy a pilot executions and have been looking for a new one to be added to the game, then Respawn Entertainment has got you covered as well. Unfortunately, there’s no word on what exactly it’ll be.
Finally, to round out the new content drop a new playlist interface will also be introduced that will allow users to pick and choose which game modes they will be matched in. You can check out a short glimpse of it in action here.
Live Fire along side the trio of new maps and more are set to be released all for free and will be available to play on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
