Genshin Impact Version 2.7 Set for May 31 Release

Upcoming Genshin Impact update is just around the corner.

Genshin Impact Version 2.7 is set for May 31 Release, according to the developers of the game.  The latest update for Genshin Impact will bring a new story quest that is aimed at unveiling more about Liuyue’s story as well as the introduction of new characters Yelan and Kuki Shinobu.  Alongside that, there’s a new drumming rhythm game rolling out with the update as well.

The Hidden Dreams in the Depths Update 2.7 is going to feature a new Archon Quest that will tell more about Liyue and Yakshas history.  Yelan will be a new five-star character which is a Hydro Archer.  Kuki Shinobu is a four-star electro support character.  As for that Drumming mini-game it’s called Drumalong and its hosted by the Arataki Gang.

A couple of characters will be up for reruns in 2.7.  Xiao and ARataki Itto as well.

In Version 2.7 players will have access to a new event called the Perilous Trail.   This will bring players back to The Chasm for new challenges and rewards.  Playing through this event which will focus on buried past for the people of Liyue and will unlock a combat challenge called “Realms of Guile and War” which will reward players with an event exclusive four-star bow called “Fading Twilight” that will be available in the event shop.

Genshin Impact is free-to-play and available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC and mobile devices.   Look for this update 2.7 content on May 31st across all platforms.
