A new GTA Online update is coming next week, June 13th. This update will add a brand new game mode to the ever expanding multiplayer GTA experience: Gunrunning. The mode looks action packed and with it will come a selection of new vehicles that add some punch to your usual driving.

“Fortify a subterranean bunker, decimate your enemies in a Mobile Operations Center, wreak havoc in a new fleet of Weaponized Vehicles, and make your mark on the SA arms trade,” says Rockstar.

Aside from this we actually know very little about GTA Online: Gunrunning as of now. You can check out the trailer below, which gives a good look at the new vehicles you’ll be able to drive around the streets of Los Santos. It seems like this new mode will let players defend underground bunkers (UPDATE: this was originally reported as buildable bases, but that was not entirely accurate) and use the new vehicles to attack NPCs and possibly other players.

GTA Online has been a massive success for Rockstar, with GTA V selling tens of millions of copies across its various platforms. While the single player campaign was enjoyable, most players are coming back again and again in order to go online. The developer has kept up with demand by issuing updates like this that add new content to the experience.
