Halo 4 Week Begins: Castle Map Pack & New Challenges

343 Industries has a lot of fresh content coming down the pipe for Halo 4 players. Each day this week, 343 Industries will be releasing new content for the shooter, beginning with today’s release of the Castle Map Pack.

The Castle Map Pack features three maps that have built emphasizing vehicular combat, in large open spaces. The Castle Map Pack also brings back the Competitive Ranking System to Halo, featuring a ranking system across all War Games game modes. Players who log-in to play Halo 4, play the Castle Map Pack Playlist, and reach CSR (Competitive Skill Rank) of level 35 or higher, and they’ll recieve an exclusive avatar item.

Later in the week, daily and weekly challenges will offer players the opportunity to rank up more quickly across the War Games, Spartan Ops, or Campaign game modes. The daily challenges can be earned once per day throughout the week.
