Bungie’s Blockbuster Prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved is the latest title to become available on the Xbox Live’s Games on Demand Service. Microsoft recently announced the inclusion of Halo: Reach. The franchise which helped propel the Xbox and Xbox 360’s success is available for $49.99 on the service alongside other titles in the franchise.

I can’t say this is a spectacular deal however, you can find the game new on Amazon.com right now for 34.20, and $10 cheaper then that if you were willing to purchase a used copy. But if you want instant access to the world of Reach, you have to pay to play. The Defiant Map Pack also recently released as the second downloadable Map Pack for the game.

Don’t get your hopes up, none of this DLC comes with the downloadable version of the game.
