Hyrule Warriors Gives Zelda The Wind Waker Treatment In New Trailer

Hyrule Warriors is easily one of the most anticipated games for the next few months, with a release in Japan set for less than a month from now. Every few days we have been getting new information about the game, often times in the form of a trailer. This time, it is Zelda’s turn again as she have received a brand new trailer with a very interesting weapon addition, the Wind Waker.

You should recognize this as the title item from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, which Link used to change the direction of the wind, along with some other abilities, while traveling across the Great Sea. However, this time Zelda has taken control of it and is using it as a weapon. By commanding the winds, Zelda can dismantle full armies of enemies with ease, including the summoning of tornadoes that look like they are straight out of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The winds even seem to play music as you conduct them as well, which is just plain awesome.

With all of the various weapons that are being given to characters in Hyrule Warriors, I know I can’t wait to see what else is revealed prior to its release date in Japan next month and then in the US on September 26.
