Influencer’s Mom Ruined Gender Reveal To ‘Up The Surprise Factor,’ But Her T-Shirt Proves She Made It All About Her

Instagram model Gianna Wulf recently shared an update about her gender reveal party that went viral earlier this month. The pregnant influencer had given her mother full control of the event with one simple request: she wanted the color for her baby’s gender to come out of her confetti cannon. During the reveal, Wulf’s confetti cannon popped pink like she hoped, but her husband’s cannon shot out blue confetti instead. This left the couple confused about their baby’s gender. Wulf’s mother, who was standing above the couple where the camera could see her clearly, then popped her own black balloon to reveal pink confetti. The grandmother later said in an interview that she did all this to “up the surprise factor” at the party.

In what Wulf called her “narcissist mom reveal,” she sat down with her mother to talk about the incident and all the hate it got. When Wulf asked her mom if they had boundaries between them, the grandmother just said “no.”

The grandmother stood by what she did. She said the party was actually hers because she was the one who threw it. She also said she did not make the event about herself because she just wore a casual t-shirt instead of dressing up. But that t-shirt said “keeper of the gender” on it, which many people thought proved she wanted to be the center of attention.

Even with all the hate, Wulf said she would not cut her mother off.
