Namco Bandai recently premiered it’s previously announced shooter titled Inversion at it’s Ignite 2011 event.  The premise of the game is a gravity manipulation first person shooter and it’s coming from Time Shift developer, Saber Interactive, who is also rumored to be working on the Halo: Combat Evolved remake.

Armed with the “GravLink” , the device allows players to manipulate the laws of physics.  Shooting objects will float items in the air and allow players to manipulate and place objects throughout the environment or use as projectile weapons.

Accompanying the gravity manipulating mechanic, the game is said to play like a ‘straight up cover based shooter, uninspired and derivative of Gears of War’.
