Guerrilla Games recently had to submit Killzone 3 to the UK’s Board of Film Classification for rating before it’s February release.  And while the inevitable 18 rating came in, it was also found that Killzone 3 will feature over an hour’s worth of HQC, that’s High Quality Cutscenes.  Notable as well  is that Guerrilla need not cut anything from the game for release.  So expect to get all of the “strong bloody violence and strong language”  unfiltered by a  governing body, as intended by the creators.
Killzone 3 also recieved a Mature Rating by the U.S. ratings agency, ESRB. Â For the same content of “Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, and Strong Language”.
Killzone 3 will be available exclusively on the PlayStation 3 beginning Feburary 22nd.
The recent launch trailer showcases a bit of the cinematic action.
