Killzone 3 to recieve Retro Maps

Sony has announced that the initial downloadable content for Killzone 3 will bring players back to the locations of Killzone 2. Titled the Retro Map Pack, the downloadable with contain two classic Killzone 2 maps.

Sony has announced that the initial downloadable content for Killzone 3 will bring players back to the locations of Killzone 2.  Titled the Retro Map Pack, the downloadable with contain two classic Killzone 2 maps.  The first, Salamun market, is a rework of one of the larger maps from Killzone 2.  The second map, Blood Gracht, is another re-tool for the 16 player Guerrilla mode.

The DLC will be available on the PlayStation Store, but if you pre-order from participating retailers you’ll get the content as a bonus.  The participating retailers you’ll be looking for are Gamestop, Best Buy, and Amazon.com so if you want the free goods you should definitely consider that.

Killzone 3 Multiplayer Demo has gone live in the UK and will be live within hours in the US.  See you on the battlefield.
