Konami Releasing A Metal Gear Solid Pachinko Machine

It appears Konami has no plans to release a big AAA game for Metal Gear Solid soon as they have now released a pachinko machine based on Snake Eater.

For those of you who are unaware, a pachinko machine is a slot machine basically used for gambling. They are big in Japan and many video games have turned into pachinko machines.

The sad thing is that Konami is making more pachinko machines than actual video games lately. The company trolled everyone by releasing a Silent Hill machine after cancelling Silent Hills the video game that was going to be made by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro.

Konami’s only AAA video game franchise that is still alive is PES. PES 2017 has been announced already and will be out later this year. PES 2017 will utilize the Fox Engine that Hideo Kojima helped to create.

It’s quite sad to see that the Metal Gear Solid franchise has become like this now. It’s unlikely another game will be made unless Konami listens to the fans. If you live in Japan, you can play this pachinko machine in Fall 2016.
