Blizzard has been working non-stop ever since they released Overwatch, updating it regularly, releasing new content and celebrating special occasions with in-game events. And update 2.02 is no different, since it adds another map to the game’s list.
Update 2.02 is reportedly between 600 and 700 Megabyte, and it is currently available to download on all platforms. Blizzard is yet to share the update’s full patch notes through its forums as of the time of writing, however, they shared a brief description of the new control map, Oasis.
New Control Map: Oasis
“Oasis is one of the world’s most advanced cities, a shining jewel rising from the Arabian Desert. A monument to human ingenuity and invention, researchers and academics from around the region came together to found a city dedicated to scientific progress without restraints. The city and its inhabitants are governed by the Ministries, a collection of brilliant minds who possess many secrets, which have attracted the interest of powerful organizations from around the world.”
