Respawn Entertainment has recently pushed a new patch to Titanfall, and includes a number of features that the community has been asking for. The update introduces Private Matches for the first time, Party Colors, as well as numerous Balances and Fixes.

The new private match system which is currently in beta, allows large groups of friends to get together and play, while not being limited to the six player cap. Private matches support 2 to 12 players, and can be accessed through the main selection screen. Private matches will not allow for XP gain, challenge progress, or achievement unlocking.

One heavily requested feature is the new party color. This latest update will allow you to see party members and their titans labeled on the mini-map in green, instead of the default blue. This should help when trying to find friends in-game.

A number of other tweaks and fixes for Titanfall can be found in the full patch notes for this latest update.
