Bethesda’s Prey has been shrouded in a thick layer of mystery, even after it’s debut trailer was release at E3 2016. The game features a dark and interesting story involving aliens, science, and how the two can go very wrong when mixed together. A new video, released today, lifts some of this mystery by going in-depth on what appear to be the game’s main enemies, the Typhon aliens. Check it out below.

“Something has gone very, very wrong aboard Talos I,” explains the YouTube description for the new video. “What began as an experiment aimed at bettering humanity has turned into a full-on alien infestation by the previously contained entities called Typhon. Morgan Yu, who is at the center of these experiments, now must fight the Typhon aboard the highly advanced space station owned by the TranStar Corporation.”

Featuring multipl forms, it seems like the Typhon will be a formidable foe within the game. They also seem to have an intricate structure to them, developing different forms that can present unique challenges to the player, as shown in the video below.

But it seems like the Typhon might not just be mindless drone enemies after all. The description continues, “With a full ecology, the Typhon aliens are more than just shadowy creatures hell-bent on destroying the human race.”

Prey looks to be a quite unique game, featuring an intriguing story line full of aliens, super powers, and corporate drama. The public has not been able to go hands-on with the title just yet, with Bethesda giving developer presentations at PAX East 2017, but it’s looking good so far. The gameplay seems to be largely centered on the abilities that protagonist Morgan Yu developer during his time as a test subject.

Prey hits PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 5th.
