Bandai Namco presented this weekend new footage of Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time, the action-RPG based on the anime available worldwide through Netflix. The company organized a special event where they showed a new teaser trailer and a gameplay video of 16 minutes, in which we see the protagonist Akko Kagari assist to classes in the magic school, interact with her classmates, and fight magical monsters.
Additionally, it was also announced that the characters of Amanda O’Neill, Constanze Albrechtsberger, and Jasminka Antonenko would also be controllable, joining the already announced Akko, Lotte Yanson, and Sucy Manbavaran. Over 40 characters from the anime will appear in the game, that will allow players to explore almost all of Luna Nova Magical Academy.
If the game didn’t have a strong enough connection to the anime already, it was also revealed that the theme song ‘Toki no Mirage’ would be recorded by Yuiko Ohara, who also sings the end theme of the series.
Little Witch Academy follows the adventures of Akko Kagari, a regular human who enrolls on a magic school following the steps of the famous witch Shiny Chariot. However, once in the school she struggles to keep up with her classmates due to her non-magical background…that is, until she discovers the Shiny Rod, a powerful magic tool left by Chariot. The game is set during the events of the anime, but it presents a brand new story.
Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time launches on November 30 in Japan, and early 2018 for PS4 and PC in the West. Watch the teaser trailer below.
