EA Sports has now released update patch 1.08 for Madden 17 today. The full patch notes have also been revealed, although not a lot has been changed this time around.

Update patch 1.08 for Madden 17 is available now for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. Remember to install this update as soon as you can or else you might not be able to access the online services of the game.

Anyway, EA Sports posted the full patch notes over on its official website. You can read the what EA Sports posted about the patch notes below.

Hey Madden Fans. We on the Madden Team all have our collective 4’s in the air as we near the end of 2016. But there’s still time for one more Mini-Title Update, here are the details:

  • Addressed a gameplay issue where a receiver who was hot routed would switch back to his previous assignment if he was motioned and not fully set.
  • Addressed a gameplay issue where the QB would freeze after hot routing a running back and motioning him out before he became fully set.
  • Various upgrades to improve the Madden Ultimate Team Holiday experience.
  • Enhanced preparations to help deal with the upcoming Freeze.

Madden 17 update 1.07 just came out earlier this month, so this goes to show us that EA Sports is still working hard to improve on all areas of the game. Not to mention you can still expect to see constant roster updates for the remainder of the NFL season.

Madden is the only video game franchise that NFL fans can really play nowadays. Some people were hoping 2K gets the license eventually again as not everyone is a fan of EA Sports’ approach. EA Sports has an exclusive licensing deal with the NFL and it’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
