Bandai Namco has announced some major Tekken 7 news will be revealed as soon as next month.
The official Tekken Twitter page made the announcement in Japanese. It showed a picture for Tekken 7 and said a big announcement will be made on Tuesday July 7th.
Not only will this news involve Tekken 7, but it will also be something related to the 20th anniversary for the Tekken series as well. Something really cool should be announced soon.
Tekken 7 pretty much skipped E3 2015 much like it did last year. Many people expected a console release to be announced, but the game wasn’t at E3 2015.
Tekken 7 has been out in Japanese arcades since February/March 2015. It’s highly possible next month’s announcement will finally confirm the console version of the game.
It’s speculated Bandai Namco plans to release the game on PS4 and Xbox One. It’s being built on Unreal Engine 4 so it’s not likely the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles will not be able to handle its tech.
We may also get to know some more characters that will be in Tekken 7 too. Bandai Namco has slowly added more and more characters as the weeks have gone by.
Hopefully the announcement will be something that will excite many Tekken fans around the world.
