This year’s Mario Day is coming up soon and Nintendo has plans to offer some of the franchise’s newest games, as well as Switch bundles containing those games, at reduced prices. The day the sales begin is Mario Day itself, March 10, which is Mario Day because Mar10 kinds of looks like it says Mario. Ha.

Nintendo recently announced in a press release that from Sunday, March 10 through Saturday, March 16, fans will be able to purchase a Switch with one of five Mario games for a total price of $329.98, saving thirty dollars if one were to buy a Switch and one of these new games normally. Those who already own a Switch won’t be left out, as these five games will also be available to purchase as digital download codes from participating retailers for $39.99, allowing players to save twenty dollars on what would normally be a $59.99 game. The five games that fans can choose from for these offers are as follows:

  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  • Mario Tennis Aces
  • New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
  • Super Mario Odyssey
  • Super Mario Party

Despite them all being Mario games, there’s actually a lot of diversity across these different games, as the genres span from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe being a kart racer, Mario Tennis Aces being a sports game, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe being a 2D platformer, Super Mario Odyssey being a 3D platformer, and Super Mario Party being a party game, so choose wisely.
