After being fully revealed at this years E3, Marvel’s Avengers has had an interesting reception so far. While some fans look at this as the next great Marvel title after Spider-Man, others have their doubts. Regardless, the development is well underway, as it was announced that Square Enix will be bringing the title down to San Diego Comic Con where they will reveal more information about the game at a special Marvel Games Panel.Â
Marvel’s Avengers, along with a host of other titles will be showcased during this panel, and will take place during SDCC on Thursday, July 18 at 1:30 pm at Hall H in the San Diego Convention Center. The other titles to be shown will be MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3: The Black Order, and Marvel’s Iron Man VR. The panel will be hosted by Greg Miller and the Creative Director at Marvel Games, Bill Rosemann.
No other information was given but we can only hope that Square Enix will give us even more insight to this ambitious project. Marvel’s Avengers was originally announced in 2017, although it had no official title at the time. Up until it’s recent E3 showing, we knew next to nothing on what the game would be about, or how it would play. Square Enix finally let the cat out of the bag earlier this month, and the response has been, well, a bit mixed. Hopefully the company can use this new platform to show that their game is worth waiting for.
Marvel’s Avengers will launch on March 15, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
