Today is N7 day and that means we’re supposed to be in for some Mass Effect news, and BioWare did not disappoint on that front. The developer has released a cinematic reveal trailer for the game, which you can check out at the bottom of this post.
While some actual gameplay would have been nice, this is still a really solid trailer that does its job in getting everyone hyped for what’s to come. The story of the game follows three different Ark ships (each containing three different species in cryo stasis) that will leave the Milkyway Galaxy and wake up 600 years later. Of course, there’s some resistance met that shakes up those plans.
Earlier today we learned that the game would be getting both a standard and deluxe edition, with the box art for both being leaked through Best Buy. You can learn more about that by clicking right here.
Mass Effect Andromeda is set to launch in the Spring of next year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with the trailer not providing a specific release date as we previously expected. We’ll be getting the first official gameplay footage for the game at this year’s Game Awards.
