Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain released last September as Hideo Kojima’s swan song with Konami, following up on the prologue game that released before known as Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. We’ve been hearing rumbling recently that some sort of complete collection with the two together would be coming and now it has been officially confirmed.
As revealed by the official Konami website, Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience is coming to both PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 11.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience comes with not just Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain, but also all of the DLC that has been released for the game as well.
The box art for the game also includes some new artwork for the game that looks very nice, which you can see on the right.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience will cost $49.99 on PS4 and Xbox One, with the PC price through Steam will be announced at a future date.
Ever since the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, many people have been hoping to get a Chapter 3 to wrap up the game, but with Kojima gone, that is nothing more than a pipedream. Regardless, this is still a great collection for anybody that missed out before to pick up.
