The release date for the ‘Cloaked in Silence’ DLC that will be a part of Metal Gear Solid V’s online mode has finally been revealed. This new DLC adds Quiet as a playable character and more.
As reported by Famitsu, the DLC’s release will be March 15th, 2016 in Japan. It’s likely the release date should be the same in all other regions as well.
Aside from Quiet being added as a playable character in Metal Gear Solid V Online, the expansion DLC will also come with three new maps for players to explore.
We can expect to see another update patch that should be available for Metal Gear Solid V prior to this DLC’s release date. Be sure to be on the lookout for it in the next two weeks or so.
Konami has described Quiet as a powerful character in Metal Gear Online. She pretty much retains all of the supernatural powers she had in the main story mode. She is also the best sniper in the whole online mode.
She is only going to be playable in Metal Gear Online and not the main campaign of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain itself.
