Microsoft unveiled their brand new subscription based service called the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate today, and it combines two Xbox Live Gold and the Xbox Pass in one singular convenient way. The new service has been rumored for a while now, but now the company has made it official. The new service rolls out later this year and will cost $14.99 a month, but some select fans and members of Xbox Insider will be able to try it out right away.
Pushing two of your biggest online benefits into one easy accessible utility only makes sense as it essentially removes the middle man of having two different payment plans. Xbox owners can also save about $5 a month compared to having both separately at $19.99. So if anyone is looking into both of Microsoft’s well known console features, this is arguably the best option once it becomes available. Even better is that if you are already subscribed to either one or both services, you will be able to apply the value and upgrade to the Ultimate later this year
This isn’t the first time that the company has attempted include all of their online memberships onto one. Last year, they released what was known as the Xbox All Access subscription that included an Xbox One X, Xbox Live Gold, and the Game Pass for $34.99. It didn’t last long, and this new subscription is more than likely a better buy.The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will launch later this year for $14.99 a month.
