Mighty No. 9 has gone gold as the frequently-delayed game will finally see its release next month, and a new trailer for the game was recently released called Masterclass. However, the reaction to the new trailer from fans has not been kind, and now it looks like the developer’s opinion isn’t any different.

Developer Inti Creates’s chief executive Takuya Aizu took to Twitter recently to voice his frustration with the new trailer. He said, “What the hell was D*** *il*** thinking making a crappy PV like this?! Unforgivable.” If you’re wondering what the censored words are in the above message, it’s referencing publisher Deep Silver, who is responsible for releasing the new trailer.

Here’s a brief description of Mighty No. 9 from the game’s Steam page:

“You play as Beck, the 9th in a line of powerful robots, and the only one not infected by a mysterious computer virus that has caused mechanized creatures the world over to go berserk. Run, jump, blast, and transform your way through twelve stages using weapons and abilities stolen from your enemies to take down your fellow Mighty Number robots and confront the final evil that threatens the planet!”

Mighty No. 9 is set to launch on June 21st for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC on June 21st. The 3DS and PlayStation Vita versions will follow later this year. Check out the Masterclass trailer for the game below.
