A brand new Minecraft update is rolling out now across all of its various console platforms. PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and others are receiving the latest update to Mojang and Microsoft’s massively popular open world game. This update doles the usual slate of bug and glitch fixes along with some additional content for players to dive into, including some brand new skin packs and a map pack for the Glide mini-game mode.

The individual platform patch notes might be a bit different here and there, but the main thread is the same across the board. The two big additions are the Glide Myths Track Pack and the “Strangers – Biome Settlers 3” Skin Packs. The Glide maps are described as “Drift through the clouds of Icarus, dive into conflict in Excalibur, and ride with the Kelpies in Celts.” The Skin Packs offer players some new ways to customize their characters, based around various Minecraft biomes and mobs.

As far as bug fixes within this Minecraft update, here’s a few highlights: “Fixed slow moving mobs in water. Endermen and Endermites should always be hostile to each other. Polar Bears should not attack the player when in peaceful mode. Wither Skeletons no longer fear daylight, and will attack anything that lives. Skeleton Horses can now be tamed and leashed. Zombie Horses can now be leashed.”

The update will take a while to roll out across all the platforms, so watch for the notification.
