Dragon Ball Xenoverse was officially revealed by Bandai Namco at E3 earlier this month. Many of the old characters appear, but many gamers were wondering who the guy with red hair was.
ShonenGamez have scanned the latest issue of V-Jump magazine from Japan. The magazine doesn’t say exactly who the new fighter is in Dragon Ball Xenoverse, but it has a few new details on him.
First of all, his hair is red and he kind of looks like a grown up Gohan. He also wears a scouter like the old Saiyans used to wear. It also mentions this fighter comes from the future to “intervene in legendary battles”. This new fighter also has some sort of relationship with Trunks who is also time travelling in the game.
This could be an indication that Dragon Ball Xenoverse finally has an original story. Many of the previous Dragon Ball Z game retreaded the same stories fans had already seen many times before. This new game could actually add something new to the table in terms of its narrative.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse comes out for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. No release date has been announced as of yet.
