The ESRB has now rated Road to Boruto which is the new DLC being released for Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. The DLC is out next year.
Even though Road to Boruto is DLC, it adds a ton of new things such as a fresh story to Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. The game received a Teen rating with the following descriptors: “Blood, Language, Suggestive Themes, Violence”
The rating summary says: “This is an adventure-fighting game in which players engage in one-on-one and group battles against characters in the Naruto Shippuden franchise. Characters punch, kick, and use special moves (e.g., fireballs, electrical blasts, energy swords) to drain opponents’ life meters; players can summon and control fantasy creatures (e.g. giant frogs, wood golems) to engage in battles. Some sequences depict blood-splatter effects as characters defeat enemy ninjas and/or attack giant enemy creatures with swords.
Cutscenes depict additional acts of violence: a character impaled through the chest with a sword—blood appears on the tip; characters impaled by arms/hands. During the course of the game, a character performs an attack that summons a “harem” of bikini-clad women with jiggling breasts; the attack depicts women rubbing their bodies against the opponent. The word “a*s” appears in the game.”
Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4: Road to Boruto has a release date of February 3rd, 2017 in North America.
