Naughty Dog has mystery game in the works

Naughty Dog has a mystery game in the works, alongside a new Uncharted title and a The Last of Us remastering. According to Evan Wells, the game is still in the “very early pre-production stages.”

Speaking with Game Informer, Wells reveals that the new project is “on the scale of Uncharted,” but offered no further details about what the game might be.

“We have the sizable team that it takes to get something like that off the ground,” says Wells. “We have a lot of great ideas and some stuff is already getting everybody jazzed and excited… So it’s a long way off before we can really start talking about it in detail.”

Given the success of The Last of Us on the PS3, and the incoming release of the game on the PS4, many are putting their bets down on a sequel or continuation of that game. Though as Wells confirms, it’s probably too early to start speculating with so much to come before it.
