Bandai Namco has announced a new raid quest for you to participate in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. This time around, you have to face a villainous Yamcha.

As announced on Facebook (link only visible to EU users), Bandai Namco announced that this new raid quest in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is happening this weekend again. Even though this news is specific to EU users, the raid quests are usually also staged in North America too.

Anyway, the announcement says you are going up against a supervillain version of Yamcha. This raid quest will be available from Saturday, 14.00 CET to Sunday 14.00 CET. All players will get a Hercule badge simply for participating in it.

Extra rewards include:

  • 2 000 damage done: Yamcha’s Baseball Uniform Set
  • 5 000 damage done: Nickname [Everybody’s]
  • 50 000 damage done: Universe 6 S. Kai’s Helper’s Hat, 20 TP medals
  • 100 000 damage done: Turtle School

If you guys manage to defeat Yamha at level 99, all players will get 50 TP medals. If you are part of the 6 player team that deals the final blow, 100 more TP medals will be awarded.

Many people in the comments section are already saying jokes about Yamcha being the boss of this week’s raid. If you watch Dragon Ball Z, you’ll know he’s pretty much the most useless guy on the team. The character was helpful in the original Dragon Ball series although that was before all of the other characters got too powerful.

Speaking of Yamcha, Bandai Namco may have done this raid quest to coincide with the character returning in the Japanese version of Dragon Ball Super this week. He won’t be fighting, but he will be the best player when the Z fighters play baseball against Champa’s team. It’s another filler episode so don’t take it too seriously. The main story saga is expected to start next week.
