God Eater 2: Rage Burst & God Eater Resurrection may have just released in the west, but Bandai-Namco are already thinking towards the future due to the popularity of the franchise. Tokyo Game Show was the perfect opportunity to announce what is next for the series.

During Tokyo Game Show this year, franchise producer Yosuke Tomizawa took the stage to show off the video below. Although the video itself is very vague, only saying ‘a new project has been started’, fans have noticed he showed up with a number three on his shirt and the Fenrir Flag towards the end of the trailer has three claw marks.  Check out the trailer for yourself and let us know what you think it means.

No matter the meaning, the project is set for consoles (presumably PlayStation 4 and Vita in Japan) and will release at a much later date for the west. That is unless they are planning a global release due to the recent popularity in the west.

God Eater 2: Rage Burst is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC. Resurrection is available on PlayStation 4 and Vita.
