2K Sports has announced that a brand new team will be available for you to play in NBA 2K17. It’s a team that has never featured in a video game before.
If you live in Australia, you will be delighted to hear that the Australian Boomers will be in NBA 2K17. This is the Australian National Basketball team.
Australian NBA player, Patty Mills, talked with Fox Sports and he said it’s an exciting time to be a basketball fan in Australia. This is the first time that the Australian team will be playable in the NBA 2K franchise.
The playable stars include: David Andersen, Cameron Bairstow, Aron Baynes, Andrew Bogut, Ryan Broekhoff, Matthew Dellavedova, Dante Exum, Chris Goulding, Joe Ingles, Kevin Lisch, Damian Martin, Patrick Mills and Brock Motum.
It’s also worth mentioning the players have been scanned so they all should look like their real-life counterparts. The NBA 2K games are usually accurate with player likenesses.
With the Australian team in the game, hopefully this is a sign that the New Zealand basketball team is added as well. After all, the two countries are rivals in pretty much every other sport.
