Sony has now released a new update patch for the PlayStation App and its PlayStation Messages App. The version numbers are 3.20 for both apps.

The PlayStation App details aren’t so detailed. All it mentions is: “Stability during use of some features has been improved.” On Android, the update file size is only 7.82MB. It’s likely the file size will be the same for iOS users.

The PlayStation Messages app also received a new update patch today. More things were added to this app other than the usual stability improvements.

The update patch notes for the PlayStation Messages app are:You can now view part of a message text within the message notification, You can now see in one display all images that have been sent to a message group, You can now view the subject of a message sent from a PlayStation 3 system and Stability during use of some features has been improved

Stability seems to be the most common thing in all update patches, but they are important in order to prevent games and apps from crashing. If you use both apps, make sure to download the new update patches to see the new features.
