A new character for Tekken 7 has now been revealed over the weekend and her name is Josie.
Her full name is Josie Rizal and she is a Filipino fighter. Some people may have seen her already when the character data leaks occurred last week. She does Muay Thai and she is small, but very fast. She was revealed during a stream that happened over the weekend. It’s great to see lots of diversity in Tekken 7. This may be the first fighter from the Philippines. There’s no date yet as to when we will see Josie Rizal in the game. Bandai Namco notes she will be playable “soon”.
Bandai Namco also revealed gameplay videos for both Jin and Devil Jin. It was revealed a few days ago that Jin is currently just a secret boss in Tekken 7 right now. He won’t be playable in the game until March 31st. Devil Jin will be coming to the game on April 7th.
Jin and Devil Jin in Tekken 7 look similar to when they appeared in previous games. It will interesting to see how Jin fits into the storyline. We won’t know more details of the story until the console versions come out.
