The code named Nintendo NX has been being talked about for ages, but it was finally revealed as the Nintendo Switch this morning. This home console and handheld hybrid system looks amazing so far and what may be even more impressive is the number of developments jumping on board.

As revealed alongside the trailer, the Nintendo Switch will have a lot of developers working on games for the system. Nintendo is always known for their first party titles, but theyw ill be having major studios like Bethesda, Square Enix, Take-Two interactive, From Software, Capcom, Activision and more bringings games to the Switch.

Nintendo has always struggled with third parties, even though they had a good relationship with Ubisoft and EA at the start of the Wii U. This is something they will definitely need to succeed in the long run in today’s environment and this could help.

The big question will be if the Switch will be getting the same games as the other consoles get. It looks like the upcoming remaster of Skyrim will be one of the games coming to the platform, which is just crazy to think about.

Another thing to think about, with Red Dead Redemption 2 getting its first trailer this morning just after the reveal, could it also be coming to the Switch as well considering Take-Two Interactive is a partner with Nintendo for Switch games? We’ll be finding that out soon enough.
