As far as what games you’ll be able to play, there is actually a pretty extensive list. For Switch there’s ARMS, Splatoon 2, Zelda, Mario Kart, 1-2 Switch, Snipperclips, and more. Then on 3DS you’ll be able to try Hey! Pikmin, Miitopia, Pokemon, Super Mario Maker, and Super Smash Bros.

The selection on 3DS is a bit lackluster, but it’s surprising to see it at the show at all. Nintendo has said over and over that they’ll continue to support the device, and the recent Direct presentation seemed to help prove that. However, the Switch definitely is a solid replacement, and it was expected that they would shift their entire focus toward the newer console.
