With Nioh: Complete Edition now confirmed for PC, the next step is to see whether your PC will be able to run it smoothly. Fortunately, the steam page for the game has been opened, revealing both the minimum and recommended system requirements needed to make William’s journey through Koei Tecmo’s iteration of Feudal Japan a smooth one.

Minimum:

OS: Windows® 10 64bit, Windows® 8.1 64bit, Windows® 7 64bit
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 3550 or over
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 780 VRAM 3GB or over AMD Radeon™ R9 280 VRAM 3GB or over
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 100 GB available space
Sound Card: 16 bit stereo, 48KHz WAVE file can be played

Recommended:

OS: Windows® 10 64bit, Windows® 8.1 64bit, Windows® 7 64bit
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7 4770K or over
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 VRAM 6GB or over AMD Radeon™ R9 380X VRAM 4GB or over
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 100 GB available space
Sound Card: 16 bit stereo, 48KHz WAVE file can be played

Unsurprisingly, Nioh: Complete Edition will be pretty demanding on your PC if you want to fully enjoy the visuals that it offers. Requiring a GTX 780 just to even run the game is pretty demanding and a GTX 1060 is nearly top of the line as far as NVIDIA graphics cards are concerned, only surpassed by the 1070, 1080 and 1080 Ti.

As mentioned before, it will support two visual modes. “Action Mode,” which will ensure a stable 60 FPS,  and “Movie Mode” which will support up to 4K resolution. It’s entirely possible that there will be other ways to tweak the visual settings, but Koei Tecmo hasn’t said anything that would suggest that there is so far.

Nioh: Complete Edition will arrive on both the PlayStation 4 and PC on Nov. 7.
