Hello Games has now released update patch 1.09 for No Man’s Sky on PS4. It’s a huge update, although official patch notes have not been released yet.
If you own No Man’s Sky on PS4, the new 1.09 update patch is around 733MB in size. The only official notes are “more big fixes” but people on Reddit posted a few more details.
Here’s the summary from Reddit: Stacking exploit removed. You can keep using any existing stacks you have however. Some reports of slightly improved graphics and sounds. Reported that saves are quicker. A report of finding the last missing fauna discovery quickly. Can no longer hold down square while uploading multiple discoveries, nor triangle when moving multiple pieces of inventory.
We will let you know if official patch notes are eventually released for No Man’s Sky. Hello Games usually releases the update first before patch notes are announced. Sometimes they don’t even release notes at all.
As of right now, it seems only the PS4 version has been updated. There’s been no word so far if the PC version has a new update as well. Again, if more information comes our way, we will let you know of additional details.
