‘Nobody cares about this Traitor’: Trump doubles down on Marjorie Taylor Greene after she reveals alarming threats to her safety

She's screaming for help. He's screaming louder.

President Donald Trump has kept up his attacks on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, brushing off the Georgia Republican’s worries about her safety after she said threatening things have been happening at her home and workplace. The fight between the president and the congresswoman has gotten much worse over the past week, with Trump going after Greene multiple times on Truth Social.

Greene said on Sunday that people have been sending fake pizza orders to her house and to her family members, as per Fox News. She also said her construction company’s office got a pipe bomb threat. She wrote that “President Trump’s unwarranted and vicious attacks against me were a dog whistle to dangerous radicals that could lead to serious attacks on me and my family.”

Trump responded to what Greene said by posting on Truth Social, writing “The fact is, nobody cares about this Traitor to our Country!” He also made fun of her last name, saying “Green turns to Brown where there is ROT involved!” The president said she is “the cause of all of her own problems” and claimed she is trying to make herself look like a victim.

Trump really went all in on this attack

Things started when Trump took back his support for Greene on Friday. He wrote that “wonderful, Conservative people are thinking about primarying Marjorie in her District of Georgia, that they too are fed up with her and her antics and, if the right person runs, they will have my Complete and Unyielding Support.” Trump said that voters in her area are tired of how she acts.

Greene has fought back, saying “I am not a traitor.” She pointed out that she “fought harder than anyone to help President Trump get elected” and still backs his government and the things they promised during the campaign. The congresswoman said that “when the President of the United States irresponsibly calls a Member of Congress of his own party, traitor, he is signaling what must be done to a traitor.”

On Saturday, Trump kept going by calling Greene a RINO, which means Republican in name only. Later that day, he wrote “Marjorie ‘Traitor’ Green is a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!” The string of attacks has put the president in a strange spot where he is publicly fighting with someone from his own party who used to be one of his biggest supporters.

The whole thing has people asking about what happens when a president uses this kind of language about elected officials. Greene’s concerns about what Trump’s words could lead to show the dangers when political fights turn into personal attacks from someone in the most powerful position in the country.
