Ubisoft has announced that an open beta for their upcoming open-world racer, The Crew, will hit the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 25th – 27th.  This gives players one last chance to check out the game ahead of the scheduled December 2nd launch.

While this upcoming test should hardly be considered a beta with the game so close to release, at least Xbox One and PS4 owners can try before they buy.  The Crew is a connected online racer and Ubisoft has been a lot of closed-door testing for the game.  They say over 1,000,000 people have participated in alpha tests this year, so hopefully, the game will be able to hold up to launch day stress.  This “beta” should help Ubisoft get an idea of what to expect, and whether the game will hold up.

The November 25th beta will allow players to explore the entire United States, but only complete challenges in two of the five regions.  PvP will also be accessible, with the Street and Dirt classes playable.  Alongside the beta announcement, Ubisoft released the trailer below.

The Crew is slated to hit store shelves on December 2nd.
