Gamers who were worried about the recent requirements for Titanfall to function on PC may now have another concern, that being the mandatory need for an EA Origin account if they wish to play.
The news was broken on Twitter as a follow up by Respawn Entertainment head Vince Zampella announcing the minimum requirements for PC. When queried by a worried fan, who cited the need for Origin as a make or break purchase decision, Zampella simply replied ”yes it does, we’ll miss you”.
There are many who aren’t fans of Origin, particularly after issues with other titles such as SimCity. Zampella has asked that players give it a chance though, at least for the beta version (arriving February 14th). The silver lining here though is that Zampella did note that there may be a slight chance of MAC gamers receiving a version, though this would ”have to be after launch ”.
