Those who have been clamoring for a sequel to Pac-Man Championship Edition are in for some good news, as Bandai Namco has just announced Pac-Man Championship Edition 2. The game will be bringing back all of the features from the first game, as well as adding some new ones.
There will be several new things that will be added to the game, but among those are jump pads, the ability to bump ghosts and brand new giant-sized ghost boss battles. The original game’s Chain Eating mechanic is also being built upon, as you will now be able to build up to four ghost trains “before chowing down for maximum chompage points.”
A lot of these new features will be utilized in the new Adventure mode, which will have players chasing down fruit and taking the aforementioned giant bosses. You can check out all of this new stuff yourself through the trailer at the bottom of this post.
Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 will be out this September for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game will also be playable at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
