Path Of Exile, the fan favorite free-to-play action role-playing game from Grinding Gear Games has hit a milestone in players shortly after their release in Taiwan.
The ‘Diablo clone’ found the niche early with a dark and deep RPG with constant updates to keep the community and fan-base happy and growing. Integrated with both Steam and Twitch the title found success rather quickly.
Now that Path Of Exile released mid-August in Taiwan and followed up shortly after with the titles second free-expansion, Forsaken Masters it has hit a stride. As the game released in Taiwan it saw over one-million new Taiwanese account registrations. The community is now seven million players strong and saw record-breaking numbers the past month with 154,000 concurrent players online.
Even with such accomplishments the plan is still to release new content every few months as the titles life continues on. Path Of Exile’s Forsaken Masters expansion is available now to download and features new quests, new mission variations, new item crafting and modification options as well as customized towns known as Hideouts and much more.
Curious gamers can check out Path Of Exile on Steam or by registering on the Official Page. Hopefully the game can continue this momentum into more expansions and improvements.
