Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 has been rated by the ESRB and they have given us a few more details about the content in the game.
Despite being somewhat violent, the game has cartoon style violence so it received a “E 10+” rating. The content descriptors says: “Animated Blood, Crude Humor, Fantasy Violence”
The rating summary for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 says: “This is an action-strategy game in which players control plants to defend gardens from waves of incoming zombies. From a third-person perspective, players roam through stages, plant defensive plants/mushrooms, and use whimsical weapons (e.g., pea shooters, concrete launcher, corn shots) to attack zombies.
Battles are sometimes frenetic and accompanied by cries of pain, realistic gunfire, and large explosions. Zombies generally break apart into pieces and/or amid splashes of green liquid when defeated. One zombie character is depicted with partially exposed buttocks and occasionally emits a flatulence sound.”
Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is the sequel to the first game that came out back in 2014. The sequel is more offline friendly because it does not require you to be online to play most modes in the game.
Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 will be released from February 23rd, 2016 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
