Last year the PlayStation E3 Experience had fans go to their local theaters and witness Sony’s E3 2014 press conference live to over 10,000 fans. It sold out quickly and due to popular demand, it returns for E3 2015.
Geoff Keighley made a post on the PlayStation Blog today to announce his involvement in the PlayStation E3 Experience this year. Fans who attend this year will be treated to a thirty-minute post-show with Geoff Keighley as its host as well as some additional goodies. Last year fans walked away with the Destiny Alpha, Battlefield Hardline Beta, a poster and a VIP laminate.
The plan is to have tickets go on sale for the PlayStation E3 Experience the same day as they announce the theater list. There will be at least one theater per state in the US, including Hawaii and Alaska as well as three cities in Canada. Given that last year sold out in about fifteen-minutes there will be significantly more theaters than last year.
PlayStation E3 Experience free tickets will be made available on Wednesday, May 27 starting at 9:00 a.m. PT on the official website. Fans will be able to watch the PlayStation E3 2015 Press Conference on June 15th, starting at 5:45 p.m PT. For those unwilling or unable to make it out for the PlayStation E3 Experience, the event will also be streamed to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 live events viewer.
