Sony has revealed the free games that PlayStation Plus members will get in November 2015. This month features an impressive assortment of games, with some newer indie titles plus some big AAA games of old. Six games in total will be available, spread across PS3, PS4, and PS Vita, with the PS4 actually receiving the most attention thanks to cross-buy functionality.
The following games will be free for all PS Plus members starting the first Tuesday in November: The Walking Dead: Season 2 for PS4, Magicka 2 for PS4, Mass Effect 2 for PS3, Beyond Good & Evil for PS3, Dragon Fin Soup for PS4 and PS Vita (PS3 Cross-Buy when available), and Invizimals for PS Vita.
The Walking Dead Season 2 is a great new entry, as the game is fantastic and it is the latest in the series. In contrast, Xbox Live Games with Gold offered The Walking Dead recently, but it was the years old season 1. Also to take the comparison further, November is a rather poor month for Microsoft’s membership program, offering a paltry selection of indie games and years old titles. While this month’s PS Plus entries might not be the best they’ve ever put together, they certainly look better in comparison.
